COME FROM AWAY Supports PAL VANCOUVER!

The cast of COME FROM AWAY were out in full force greeting the Queen Elizabeth Theatre audience, launching the North American “Broadway Cares” campaign on the evening of Friday, March 8. Pictured here are the fabulous James Earl Jones II with longtime PAL Vancouver Director Chris Patrick; and Kevin Carolan.

On March 8, 9, and 10 the cast of COME FROM AWAY collected donations for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids (BC/EFA) in partnership with the Actors Fund of Canada (AFC). AFC has graciously offered to share their portion of donations with PAL Vancouver to support our social housing and cultural facility.

COME FROM AWAY, the Canadian Musical sensation tells the story of the people of Newfoundland and their hospitality in accommodating over 7000 stranded airline passengers following the 911 attacks. During the Vancouver run of COME FROM AWAY at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (March 5 to 12) the cast collected donations for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids (BC/EFA) in partnership with the Actors Fund of Canada (AFC). AFC has graciously offered to share their portion of donations with PAL Vancouver to support our social housing and cultural facility.

We give a loud shout out to BC/ EFA, AFC and the cast and crew of COME FROM AWAY for their generous efforts on behalf of these worthy causes. A very special thank you goes to PAL Vancouver’s wonderful Director Glenn MacDonald for doing so much to make this possible.
